There will be no changes made in the Fortunate Stable Solution.
Fortunate Discovery Balanced Solution
Below are the recommended changes to the underlying funds weightings to align with our asset allocation views.
We will also increase the exposure of the Property Fund within this solution due to improving fundamentals.
We also recommend reducing Emerging Market exposure, as political uncertainty has risen following Donald Trump’s re-election as U.S. President, particularly with the imposition of tariffs on China.
Fortunate World-Wide Equity Solution
There will be no changes made in the Fortunate World-Wide Equity Solution.
Fortunate Drawdown Solution
We recommend replacing the Satrix Top 40 Index fund to the Satrix Capped SWIX All Share fund. The Satrix Top 40 Fund holds a higher concentration of rand-hedge stocks, which are more vulnerable to global market downturns. In contrast, the Satrix Capped SWIX All Share Fund is more focused on South African-based companies (“SA Inc” stocks), aligning better with the core objective of our SA equity building block—emphasizing local market exposure and performance.
We will also increase the exposure of the Satrix Property Fund within this solution due to improving fundamentals.
